Consistent reviews and service

I've been a subscriber to Lega Problema for a while now. I initially signed up for the free trial to check out their Fantasy Book Analysis, and I just kept coming back. This time, I was looking through their Historical Fiction Guides. It's pretty consistent, I always find something interesting or get a new perspective on a book I was already considering. They update often enough that there's always fresh content. No big surprises, which is a good thing for a review site. It just works reliably every time I need it for book ideas.

Annual plan was a good deal

This was my first time trying Lega Problema. I snagged their annual plan during a subscription discount. It felt like a pretty good saving compared to paying monthly. I mostly used it for the Mystery Book Insights and some of the Reading Guides. For the price I paid, I'd say it was worth it to get a year's worth of access. It definitely felt like I got good value for my money.

Good for finding new reads

I was looking for something new to read and stumbled onto Lega Problema. Their Sci-Fi Book Recommendations were pretty solid. Found a couple of audiobooks I hadn't heard of. The site was easy enough to use, no real hassle.

Do they offer student discounts for the premium stuff?

C Chris P. 1 week ago
I've seen it mentioned! I think if you go to their help section or FAQs, there should be a link to verify your student status. Worth a shot for sure.

Yeah, my friend got one last year. I'd just check their site directly or hit up their support if you can't find it.

So this isn't a place where I can actually buy or download ebooks?

A Amber 3 weeks ago
Nah, it's more for finding out *about* books. They'll probably link you to places to buy 'em, but you don't buy directly from Lega Problema itself.

Correct, it's a review site. You read about the books there, then go elsewhere like Amazon or your library to get them.

Thinking of trying the annual plan, is it easy to cancel if I don't like it?

T Tom Osei 4 weeks ago
I haven't had to cancel an annual plan, but I did cancel a monthly sub once. It was pretty straightforward in the account settings, no big drama.

Yeah, I think you just go into your account page and there should be an option to manage your subscription. Most places make it fairly easy these days.

Is it worth paying for the premium access or is the free content enough?

A Andre Reyes 2 weeks ago
Depends what you're looking for. The free stuff is good for general browsing. Premium gives you deeper dives and access to exclusive stuff like author interviews that I found really interesting.

I started with free, but then I kept hitting paywalls on the reviews I really wanted to read. Ended up just getting the premium, makes it way better for me.

How often do they update with new reviews and stuff? Don't want stale content.

K Kate Doyle 3 weeks ago
It feels pretty regular to me. I get their newsletter and there's always new stuff in it. They cover new releases pretty quickly.

I check a couple times a week and there's always something fresh. New reviews, lists, sometimes interviews. It's not like a daily newspaper but it's active.
